Goodness me! With the whirl of the Holidays upon us I have suddenly realized that I've failed to post a blog for a month and a half! I hope that everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season as much as my family and me. My daughter can't wait to unwrap her goodies in just one week's time!
A little bit of news: I participated in 20th Annual Holiday Arts Festival at Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University, which ran from December 2nd through December 12th. The local middat news show Talk of the Town ran a special segment about it on December 1st, and there was a lovely reception with food and live music on December 2nd.
I did not take any pictures, but here are some example of the ornaments that were for sale at the exhibit.
One of the benefits of doing the show was my decision to make ornaments without pixies available for just $20. They still have plenty of embellishments with the free motion embroidery and the hand beading. I love some of these new colors that I'm using, YUM! ^_^
