Just a quick blog today: one finished Ghoulish Goblin Ornament and one wip.
This OOAK ornament has a head, hands and feet sculpted in polymer clay and is painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints. The body is wrapped with mohair yarn, and the horned skull-headed ghoul sits upon a wool felt pumpkin that has been embellished with free motion embroidery stitching and hand beading. From the tip of his horns to the base of the ornament is about five inches.
I'm sorry that these images are slightly blown out: it is really difficult to photograph something white! Below is a new ghoul that I'm working on, sporting a bowler hat. Soon he will be riding on the back of a crow!
